Over the weekend, we welcomed students to stay at Imperial College London for Session 4. A mixture of excitement and nerves emanated from the group but quickly turned into a comfortable happiness as welcome talks and inductions began.
During the induction evening, an icebreaking quiz helped everyone to get to know each other. A karaoke round even encouraged some of our students to bravely take the spotlight and wow the crowd, earning cheers and applause. After an evening of fun induction games, students went to settle into their rooms to get a good night’s sleep for the maniac week ahead.
During their first day, classes and lessons enabled students to start the ‘school’ element of their trip. After lunch, students staying at Imperial were treated to a London city tour to take a break from their hard work. The excursion highlighted major landmarks, such as Buckingham Palace and the world-famous Harrods, whilst also acquainting students with the local area. Fortunately, the sun was shining on our students so photo opportunities were rife and the tour was a delightful success.
Check back soon to hear more about what our students at Imperial get up to in the coming weeks.
